Dispatches from my first night in Vegas: Woke up at 8pm covered in bread crumbs from an impromptu post-dinner nap in my room. I live like an out-of-control rock star.

L.A. does look awfully pretty from here, though.

Dessert sushi from Yamashiro last night. Yay for a 50% off Groupon or we’d never have bothered to try such a schmancy place.

I love wall decals but I don’t trust myself to apply them correctly.
After watching “Alice in Wonderland” last night, I kind of want this.

“Here It Goes Again” acoustic, from the other night.

Walked by the Kodak Theatre last night to get a glimpse of all the hubbub that was closing down Hollywood Blvd. Oscar was still in bubblewrap and rubber bands, not looking particularly glamorous.

ABOVE: OK Go acoustic set on the rooftop of the LACMA West Penthouse. Sans Dan (who is in Mexico), the band played a short six-song set that included “Here It Goes Again,” “Last Leaf” and of course, “This Too Shall Pass,” before debuting the accompanying music video. Pieces of their Rube Goldberg machine were on display inside (very cool), and the creative folks of Synn Labs were there to answer questions. Random celebrity sighting of the night? Weird Al Yankovic.
And not that it bears repeating, but: Damian Kulash is a fox. That man could not be any sexier if he tried. I can’t remember the last time I got this schoolgirl starry eyed - oh right, that would be the last time I saw OK Go in concert. Later, while bassist Tim Nordwind was behind the DJ booth, my friend and I didn’t know how to ask him for a photo without looking like total geeks, so I yelled “Great DJ-ing!” at him from about a foot away and then quite possibly flashed a thumbs up. We got the photo with him, but my cool points took a real dive last night.

Slowly catching up on Fashion Week(s), so I’m starting with Milan and moving backward. What are the odds that I could wear this Balmain to the OK Go release party tomorrow and not look like I accidentally dressed up to go to a midnight screening of “Alice in Wonderland”? Although those boys DO wear a lot of paisley.
Actually, on second thought, this outfit would be perfect for both occasions.
